Do you find yourself

wanting to, or feeling like this?

  • lacking experience or confidence in shooting destination weddings and elopements
  • Limited portfolio or destination content
  • Need for creative exploration and inspiration
  • Desire for a break and rejuvenation
  • Limited Knowledge of shooting in specific locations
  • Need for guidance and mentorship
  • Always wanted to visit Iceland and not do it alone
THEN IT’S TIME TO

DO THIS

THIS IS THE PROMISE TO YOU

I promise you will return not only with a portfolio full of breathtaking images but with a rejuvenated creative spirit and elevated photography skills that will forever change how you capture weddings and elopements.

I know this because I showcase my Iceland elopement photos to traditional wedding clients, and those images blow them away and make me stand out from other wedding photographers. I’ve been able to easily break into the multi-six-figure bookings, and I’ll go over everything I do to leverage the work you’ll create here into your business.

I can help you achieve these same results.

During our downtime, we will talk about business and marketing strategies. You’ll be able to ask me anything, and I won’t gate-keep a thing. I’ll share with you what my bookings looked like before I attended a workshop like this, the profound immediate results I was able to gain, and how I did it. This is why I am so passionate about my workshop, because I know how life-changing it was for me, and I’ll share that story with you when we meet in ICELAND.

WORKSHOP

ICELAND

Join me as we go to the land of FIRE & ICE and one of the most sought-after and favorite destinations of a lifetime — ICELAND awaits; ready yourself for more than just a workshop packed with content but an experience you are guaranteed to cherish forever.

HOW TO SHOOT HYBRID VIDEO

I will share how to shoot video with your camera regardless of the brand or model. well, except if you’re shooting with a classic film camera, I cant help you there. Hybrid video has been a major factor in my added revenue, as well as another way to separate myself and stand out from the crowd of photographers. I consider myself a pioneer in this realm and I will share how easy it is to do. BONUS *** it is a great way to create video for social media which you need to know how to do if you are not already doing so.

ONE-ON-ONE

We will have a one-on-one after the workshop to go over anything we didn’t get to during the workshop. this is perfect if you want to me look over your business and see where it can improve, maybe look over your portfolio, discuss marketing so you can take advantage of all the great content you will walk away with. this is a 45-minute Zoom or Facetime call. also, before the workshop, we can jump on a call if you have any questions on the type of gear, what to bring, what to expect, weather, and logistics so you arrive ready and confident.

THE

LOCATIONS

THESE ARE THE MOST IMPRESSIVE, SOUGHT-AFTER, AND ICONIC LOCATIONS IN ICELAND

BLACK SAND BEACH

Probably the most famous of the locations and one of the most requested locations eloping couples ask to shoot at is the Black Sand Beach with the Basalt Pillars.

ATOP A GLACIER

We will take a guide service in an extreme 4×4 van built specifically for traversing rough terrain not accessible by typical 4×4 vehicles to a glacier where we will hike up for some epic photo content.

BONUS LOCATION 1 DIAMOND BEACH

Time permitting, we will walk across the street after completing our Glacier shoot and spend some time shooting at Diamond Beach. The Beach is unpredictable in terms of how much glacier ice washes ashore but if there is enough to make it worth it we will stop here and shoot.

SKOGAFOSS

One of the biggest and most impressive waterfalls in Iceland. This is also one of the most requested locations I get from couples eloping in Iceland.

HIGHLANDS

Straight out of the movies: Rogue One – a Star Wars story, Oblivion, Noah, and Thor – the Dark World are just a few of the movies filmed here.

BONUS LOCATION 2 YODA CAVE

Time permitting, we will head to Yoda cave and spend some time shooting there and venture a bit further where there is a DUNE-like landscape with two solitaire rocks that look amazing.

GOT SOME

QUESTIONS?

The duration of the Iceland workshop will be 3 days and 2 nights. The 28th through the 30th of August 2024. We will check in on the 28th, and then all of us will go for a welcome dinner, followed by our first sunset session. The next day, we will have a sunrise shoot, break in the middle of the day, and relax, then head back out for our third shoot at sunset. The next morning, we will head off for a sunrise session, and afterward, we will say goodbye, officially concluding our time together. In previous years, other attendees have gotten together to explore more of Iceland. the choice is yours.

For this workshop, I will keep the attendees to 8 max. This will ensure each of you has ample time to work with the models during the one-on-one time so you can make sure you get the shots YOU want. If you are shy or not confident in this section, don’t worry. I will be there with you to help you with posing or anything else so you don’t feel like you’re not getting the same value others who are more advanced do. Also, we are working with professional models, so they are great at working through poses, so you don’t have to worry about that if you don’t want to. This is set up to be a safe, comfortable learning experience for everyone at every skill level.

The Price for my 2024 Iceland Adventure Elopement Workshop is $3,490 – I have done my best to keep the cost of my workshop as affordable as possible so that anyone at any budget can attend. There is a lot of planning, logistics, hiring guide services for glacier/ice cave, transportation, hiring of high-quality models, gowns & suits, meals, and more that goes into this workshop. Also, I wanted to make the price so that you view this as the investment that it is and take this seriously for yourself in order for you to get the most out of the experience.

With your ticket purchase to the workshop in Iceland, you’ll be provided with transportation during the workshop, accommodations at one of Black Beach Suites, Hotel Vik or a similar in quality lodging where we all will stay together.

YES! The couples shooting are not only professional models but are also real couples, so you will be able to feel the connection they share and have it translate into award-winning photographs and videos.

The one you have. Yes, I know that sounds corny, but it’s true. I have taught at workshops where the attendees had entry-level bodies and kit lenses walk away with amazing images. If it is within the budget, I recommend a full-frame body with some weather sealing. If your camera body isn’t weather-sealed, then I can recommend some rain sleeves I have used in the past, even with my weather-sealed equipment. This is just a precaution but not necessary, but sometimes it rains in Iceland. HAHA I know, rain — never! For Lenses, a wide-angle lens in the 24-35mm range is nice to have for the wide landscape shots our couples will be in. I also recommend a portrait lens like a 50 mm, 85mm, or something like a 24-70 is perfect. Extra but not necessary is a 70-200 or something similar if you want those high compression shots. Again this is definitely not needed. I rarely use mine but in certain situations.

The deposit is a non-refundable payment. The balance is due 30 days before the start of the workshop.

If you want to pay in full, a discount of $250 will be applied. Otherwise, you can make payments as it fits in your budget or pay the balance 30 days before the start of the workshop.

If you cannot attend the workshop anymore, yes, If you find a replacement attendee to take your spot, your deposit can be applied to another person. I will also help in finding a replacement attendee. In most cases there is a waitlist in the event someone has to step away for unforeseen reasons.

You bet! 2 weeks prior to departing for the workshop, I will host a group Zoom call for those who want to join. I will go over the plan, and you can ask any questions regarding the workshop or the itinerary. If you want a digital version of the plan I can provide one for you upon request.

Yes, if you’re okay with me sharing it with the group, I will provide everyone with a contact sheet of everyone’s socials and info. This way, if you want to share renting a car or plan to meet up before or after, you can. It is also a great way to start following and supporting each other before, and after this amazing experience and photographic excursion, you are about to embark on.

Regarding accommodations, yes, each room will be dual occupancy. If you require a solo room, just let me know, and we can get you settled in.

Abso-Freaking-Lutely !! I’ve taught at workshops where the attendee wasn’t even a wedding or elopement photographer. She was a landscape photographer and wanted to join just to photograph at the amazing locations we visited during the workshop. Just getting started, advanced, and looking to spark some creativity, get into destination weddings, or build a portfolio to blow everyone who looks at your photos minds, then this is perfect for you. AND don’t forget, if you are a filmmaker, this is exactly what you need too. By keeping the group size to only 8, you will all have time crate content for YOU.
